We have three en-suite guest bedrooms within our home, all on the first floor. Our rural location means that a car is needed to get here. Vegetarians and others with any special dietary requirements are advised that prior notice is needed in order that we may cater satisfactorily for their needs. Menus can be provided in large print with prior notice.

Arrival, Entrance & Reception
We have a large open driveway without gates and ample level parking on a gravel surface. We offer assistance with luggage. Externally there is a small step up of 12cm onto some level flagstones at the front door. There is a further tiny step of 4cm and across the threshold a wooden bar 2cm high. There is a metal grab rail attached to the house wall. Inside is a large fitted doormat area and a very small step of 5cm down from this into the main hallway. The floor covering is varnished original floorboards covered with a large coir mat. Visual contrasts are good throughout.

Communal Guest Areas
The sitting room and dining room have fitted close pile carpet, as has the stairs and landing areas and guest bedrooms. There are 11 stairs up to a half-landing (where a chair can be placed if required) and a further nine stairs to the first floor, where all guest bedrooms are situated. The stairs are 19cm high, 28cm deep and 96 cm wide. The dining chairs are without arms, but chairs with arms can be provided if necessary. The height of the lowest dining table is 72cm (they are all different antique tables) and the smallest underspace is 70cm wide x 59cm high. We usually play background music during mealtimes, but this may be turned off if not required. Upon request, our private downstairs WC can be made available to anyone having difficulty with the stairs. We do not provide laundry services or leisure facilities and we have no shop on our premises.
